"Adana ili Kozan ilçesi sınırları içinde bulunan Anavarza Antik Kentinin tarihçesi MÖ 19 yılına dayanmakta ve Roma İmparatorluğu'nun Doğu Akdeniz'deki en önemli ordugah merkezleri arasında yer almaktadır. Kaynaklara göre Anavarza Antik kenti Efes'ten daha geniş bir yerleşkeye sahiptir."
Kültür Bakanlığı'nın kazı çalışmaları devam ediyor. Çalışma tamamlandığında büyük bir tarihi değer daha gün yüzüne çıkarılmış olacak.
