Kırklareli İğneada Hamam gölünde bolca karşımıza çıkan halk dilinde Nilüfer çiçeği olarak bilinen Lotus çiçeği. Nelumbo cinsinden yağmur ormanlarında yaşayan bitki türlerine verilen ad. Yaprak yapısı üzerindeki nano sivrilikler yapışmayı önler. Su gibi kapiler çekim tutunması olan maddelerde bile statik iticilik özelliğini korurlar.
